Tribe 'Run For Love 3' Documentary

Client:  Tribe

Production Company: Orillo

Role: Editor, Motion Graphics, Sound Design

Director: Jack Turner

This feature-length documentary follows a group of runners as they take on six marathons in five days across the treacherous terrain of the Azores Islands, raising funds in support of victims of human trafficking and modern slavery.

During production, tight deadlines meant the primary focus was on capturing commercial content to document the runners’ progress and drive fundraising donations. As a result, assembling the documentary edit required significant creative problem-solving to shape more than 35 hours of disparate rushes into a cohesive finished film. This included collaborating with the director to write a voiceover and developing key “explainer” motion graphics to support exposition.

Post-production took place during the COVID-19 pandemic and was completed entirely remotely, presenting an additional challenge. Once the offline edit was locked, my role expanded to include sound design and mixing, as well as the creation of all motion graphics.
