A reimagining of the product review concept. The intention Asics Real Reviews was to provide honest reviews of their latest shoe in an entertaining way. 

The films were captured in a documentary style with two crews following a real running group 'Run Dusty' through the streets and parks of London. 

 

This project required a mix of documentary and commercial editing skills, mixing fly on the wall - run and gun footage with set up beauty shots of the products and runners. I enjoyed the challenge of compressing several hours footage to a 2 minute film as well as 2 30 second social cuts during the editing process. I created the motion graphics in After Effects and graded in Davinci Resolve.

 

This was a really cool project to work on!
